Rimless Letters
Our stainless-steel built-up letters can also be created as a rimless design. This technique involves bonding metal returns to an acrylic face, creating a 100% acrylic surface that will allow for full edge-to-edge illumination.
Rim & Return Letters
Our rim & return letters follow a classic approach: a stainless-steel lip is cut to match the letter’s shape, and the returns are soldered to the lip. The acrylic face is then inserted from the back, giving the letter a metal lip along the edge. Whilst rimless letters are a popular on-trend choice. The rim & return method remains a robust, reliable and well-established choice for larger letters and logos due to the increased strength associated with this quality build type.
Acrylic Letters
Acrylic built-up letters offer bold signage with a wide range of creative possibilities. The acrylic faces are precision-cut using CNC machines, and the returns are carefully heated and shaped to match the contours of the letter. With hundreds of colours and varying depths of returns available, there are virtually no limits to what we can create.
Brushed/Polished Stainless Steel
For a more refined, high-end look, our brushed and polished stainless-steel letters stand out. Whether they are solid-faced or illuminated, these finishes elevate the overall design, adding a sleek and sophisticated touch. Combining brushed or polished stainless steel with other materials, like acrylic, and incorporating lighting options creates unique and desirable finish.
